An evidence pack is a fixed record of a period: the register as it stood, the corrective actions worked, and the slice of the audit trail that covers them — as a PDF and a set of CSVs.

Who can generate one

Improvement managers, administrators and owners, on a paid plan. If you meet the paywall and cannot clear it yourself, use Ask an owner to upgrade — the request emails your owners, and you are told automatically when the plan changes.

It is queued, not instant

Requesting a pack enqueues it. The screen tells you it is preparing and gives you a Check again link; a mature register with a long period takes a moment to verify and render. You are emailed when it is issued.

What "hash-verified" means

Every audit-log entry is chained to the one before it. When a pack is assembled, the chain across the period is recomputed and checked against an anchor that sits outside the period being exported — so the pack cannot vouch for itself.

If verification fails, the pack is still issued and marked as failed integrity, with the exact entry that broke the chain. Refusing to issue it would leave you with nothing to investigate.

Each document is also byte-hashed, so you can prove the file an auditor is holding is the file we produced.

Frequently asked questions

Why can I not export the current month?
A pack covers a closed period. The current month is still changing, so a pack of it would be a snapshot that disagrees with the register an hour later.
What happens to my packs if I cancel?
Packs you have already generated stay downloadable on any plan, indefinitely. Generating a new one needs a paid plan.
